Welcome to the next entry to the Mindful Tarot series!
Most of the time I think I am going to be using this space to talk very specifically about how particular cards can be read for introspection and mindfulness purposes. My intention is to describe the ways in which I have used Tarot as a daily practice and to demystify the practice for others.
It’s a fact that many perceive of Tarot as some sort of supernatural divination tool, and I am not here to debunk that assertion. I can only tell you how I use it.
Today I want to discuss what it means to use a clarifying card.
When you deal with the cards you can pull as few as one or as many as you want, for the most part. With a good guidebook, as I mentioned in the previous post, you get keywords for an upright and reverse reading, with additional notes. Sometimes the content is descriptive enough that it sparks meaning for you. The intention is to apply the message to the here-and-now so that we can be more aware of the present moment.
